Disaster has struck in the last few days. My oven has given up on life! There goes all my baking plans - destroyed!
And with Sydney temperatures dropping to what feels like way below zero, not having an oven the huddle around with a loaf of bread or some type of pie filling up the house has been hard.
Luckily with some cream cheese in the fridge and remarkably some uneaten chocolate these three ingredient truffles allowed me to "bake" minus the baking bit.
Chocolate Cheesecake Truffles
Ingredients
- 125g cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup icing sugar, sifted
- 200g dark chocolate, melted
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
Instructions
Mash cream cheese with two forks until smooth. Combine cream cheese and icing sugar and mix until smooth.Pour in melted chocolate and mix until well combine.Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until solid.Roll into tablespoon size balls and roll in cocoa. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
