This weekend I set about to make a lovely chocolate banana cake.
But as it would be, the end result looks a lot less bananery.
And a lot more like something dreamt up by a small child or abstract artist.
It began with a chocolate cake.
Then a caramello koala assaulted buttercream filling.
Covered off in freeze dried strawberry buttercream.
And topped with a sprinkle of dried rose buds.
