Shortcuts Part 1 - when to embrace the packet mix

Today I had such a lovely day walking along the coast of Sydney Harbour. With such lovely turn in the weather I think its about time to introduce my new series "Shortcuts - when to embrace the packet mix".

Lifes to short for things like puff pastry and most sauces to be made from scratch so what a better way to show case the lengths that packets have come then a serious road test of three of the best.

Starting with the bread!  Mr SE even gave it a red hot go. Even with the added complication of activating yeast it really boils down to a "just add water" recipe.

We used Lucke Multigrain Soy and Linseed.

Not having to use a breadmaker was an awesome bonus to this mix. And backed so tightly with seeds as well.

Success! With the challenges of mixing up your own bread mix - this shortcut gets two big thumbs up.

Final Vote: Would do it again
